My Poems 03: Every Rainy Day

Every rain starts from a drop of rain

Every drop falls from a cloud

Every cloud comes from a droplet of water

Then it gets together with others

And others

Slowly and determined.

In every rainy day

I’d sit tight

Beside my window

Waiting for them to arrive

They fall

They’re falling

They fell

Tapping the grass and leaves

Where they’ve been missing

You were born here

Remember?

In every rainy day

I’d sit tight

On my balcony

Watching them saturating the lawn

Calmly and delighted.
